Yesterday, I stayed home to care for my daughter who has the flu. While she was lounging on the couch and I was sitting back in the chair we witnessed a very unfortunate series of events for poor Little Teddy.
Little Teddy is one of my youngest daughter, Willow’s, toys. She left Little Teddy on the love seat and our mischievous cat Harley decided to have a ball with Teddy.

I don’t think Little Teddy saw it coming cause at first he played dead hoping that Harley would quickly lose interest and chase hairbands across the floor.

But Harley wasn’t buying the dead act. He was focused …. and determined. You see, he wanted to have a ball, not with Little Teddy, but with Little Teddy’s head.

Poor Little Teddy! He had an Unfortunate Day.

Opps! There goes the head
Now daddy has gotta make a trip to the mall to replace a new one
heehee
Happy WW Dale!!

@Elaine - lol … just to show you how multi-talented I am, I quickly stitched Little Teddy’s head back on. It has a strange tilt and wobbles a lot but at least Little Teddy’s head has been reunited with his body!
That’s hilarious. Have a wonderful WW!

I love the second shot with Harley’s face in the background! Poor Teddy, but I’m glad to hear that you fixed him up.
Oh no!!! but your lucky you stitched that back on. That is so adorable the little teddy.
I thought Harley hated me, dad. Like 3 days and now Harley’s been aggravating me when I am sick. He’s so naughty, Harley. Haha! At least you fixed it, Dad, because you are as slow as a sloth Willow threw a tantrum when she saw that be-headed teddy bear. Lucky Harley doesn’t destroy any of my things apart from my hair bands. If he did I’ll be chasing him down the hall getting deputy dog to do the job, lol!
Harley must be oblivious to the fact that not everyone has nine lives. Lucky Dad is very handy and can sew head back onto bodies.
I really like the second last shot where harley is out of focus.
Ah, the tragedy of innocent trust misplaced. Great post and photos. Poor little teddy.
