Every Sunday there’s a cool little market in Kongwak (Gippsland) where you can listen to live music, eat homemade Indian food and buy most anything made in the 1970-80′s. It really is like stepping back in time.
I take a lot of photos with my iphone, at least a few each day. I came across an interest image editing iphone app yesterday called Percolator. It basically renders your image in circular, pixel like form. Out of sheer curiosity I downloaded the app and had a go, experimenting with the various settings to see how interesting we could get. I was pleased with the outcomes. Here are three photos from a recent day of surfing. The first is my daughter contemplating the surf conditions with her board tucked under arm. The second is a self portrait of me in wetsuit and with a liberal dose of blue zinc across my cheekbones and nose. The final shot was of a perfect wave. What do you think of the results? Let me see what you come up with or hear of any cool ideas in using this app.
