It’s Willow Wednesday again. This cheeky gal loves to go down the road on a Saturday morning and feed the local wildlife. Here’s she’s got a friendly Crimson Rosella perched on her hat ready to eat out of her hands. About five mins from the house is a picnic ground where the local bird life are [...] Australian Pelican coming in for a landing, Ricketts Point, Melbourne, Australia. I took my two girls out to the beach today. My youngest, Willow, disturbed a flock of pelicans. This one was just settling back onto the water. This is Juniper’s best friend. His name is Jazzy and he screeches like mad until he’s let out of the cage to play with the family. He’s been her pet for the past four years. Damn thing has cost me almost $1000 in vet costs recently but … hey … what can you do? So, now [...] While shooting picts of the roos, this magpie was making it clear to me that I was too close to the family nest! |
