My little Willow after she asked me to pick one of the giant roses in the backyard. Afterwards she stuffed the rose into the ground and pured water on top. I hope she’s not disappointed today when the rose is no longer a rose.

My little Willow after she asked me to pick one of the giant roses in the backyard. Afterwards she stuffed the rose into the ground and pured water on top. I hope she’s not disappointed today when the rose is no longer a rose. The Waratha in the backyard is in bloom. First flower of spring Spring is in full bloom around my place! It’s always amazing what you can find when you look really really close at something. I guess that’s why I love macro photography. It gives you a new perspective, a new found appreciation, a renewed sense of wonder. This was a dandelion I picked up while playing outside with Willow. I attempted to get a nice [...] This weekend has been next to perfect. The boiling heat has abated for the moment and we have had a very pleasant weekend. Hopefully we’ll not have many more +40degrees C days this summer. Junipe, Willow and I found this flower while out walking. |
