Weekend With Mr Mum
Hello, Mr Mum here. The gals got up first thing this Saturday morning and wanted to go to the aquarium. So I made them breakfast got the little wyld one dressed and then waited and waited some more for the older, much more vain one to finish getting ready. We went by train into the city to the aquarium. They had a blast cause we took the train ride then had a short tram ride.
They whizzed through the aquarium to get to the other side (did I mention there was a gift store on the other side at the exit?). We then strolled along the banks of the Yarra River as it meanders down the heart of Melbourne.
We didn’t get home until dinnertime and both were knackered. I even got the wyld one in bed early. w00t!
I took several photos during the day. Most while we were playing around the river.

Strange shapes and textures can be found in the neighborhood of the Cone Nebula. These patterns result from the tumultuous unrest that accompanies the formation of the open cluster of stars known as NGC 2264, the Snowflake cluster. To better understand this process, a detailed image of this region was taken in two colors of infrared light by the orbiting Spitzer Space Telescope. Bright stars from the Snowflake cluster dot the field. These stars soon heat up and destroy the gas and dust mountains in which they formed. One such dust mountain is the famous Cone Nebula, visible in the above image on the left, pointing toward a bright star near the center of the field. The entire NGC 2264 region is located about 2,500 light years away toward the constellation of the Unicorn (Monoceros).
