Kanga Crossing
Willow and I went to a local park on Sunday and met up with a Kanga family. This is the Mom of an older Joey. I think she was expecting a hand out from us cause she began hopping straight for us and veered to the side once she realised we were san goodies. I took this photo as she was approaching Willow.

As promised, here’s one of the more cheeky sods from the herd of kangaroo near the house. I drive by these guys on the way to work each day. Usually I don’t see them unless one was unlucky crossing the highway however, early on a Saturday morning, the girls and I can usually find them grazing along the side of Cardinia Reservoir. I took these pictures a few weeks ago. I think my youngest had just thrown her jam filled donut to this guy. I don’t know what he’s complaining about … they were good donuts!

A GROVEDALE (near Melbourne) man watched in amazement as a 3m shark leapt from the water to attack a kangaroo swimming out to sea at Torquay’s Fishermans Beach.
“The shark came right out of the water,” Daniel Hurst said yesterday. “It flipped onto its side. I didn’t see the kangaroo after that.”
Then, a second witness came forward to back the bizarre story. Later, authorities confirmed they removed the remains of a kangaroo from the beach.
